HOUSTON, TX, May 20, 2025 — Worldwide Power Products (WPP) is proud to welcome Josh Sheckler as its new Director of Power Solutions, effective May 19, 2025.

Sheckler brings more than 26 years of experience in the power generation industry, all with Altorfer Caterpillar, where he built a national reputation for his deep technical knowledge of Caterpillar generator sets and custom-packaged power modules for the rental market. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Altorfer’s Power Systems Packaging Division, leading packaging efforts for nearly every CAT rental dealer in North America.

At WPP, Sheckler will focus on power module sales, as well as supporting procurement, engine and generator sourcing, and packaging improvements in collaboration with Will Perry, CEO, and Dave Vennie, Vice President of Sales & Engineering. His hands-on expertise and long-standing industry relationships will strengthen WPP’s ability to deliver fast, flexible power solutions to commercial and industrial customers nationwide.

“Josh is a heavy hitter in this industry,” said Dave Vennie, VP of Sales & Engineering. “He’s spent decades solving complex packaging challenges and understands the power module landscape better than anyone. Bringing him on board is a big step forward for our rental and mobile power capabilities.”

“WPP is a company I’ve long respected for its commitment to customer service and its reputation in the power generation space,” said Sheckler. “Joining this team is a natural next step, and I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and contribute to what WPP is building—especially on the power module side.”

Outside the office, Sheckler is active in his community and has served in leadership roles in education, the performing arts, and youth soccer. He and his wife, Jennifer—a high school art teacher—have two children: Connor, a high school sophomore, and Sarah, who will attend the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Stephens College this fall.

Harrison added, “Joining WPP is an incredible opportunity to be part of a company that truly puts people first—both customers and employees. What drew me here was the strong culture, the leadership’s vision, and the chance to contribute to something growing and meaningful. I’m excited to support the team and help WPP continue building on its strong foundation.”

Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a minor in General Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. He resides in the Houston area with his family.
