Consultation
In our initial site survey and consultation, we will discuss your expectations for the setup and examine where the equipment may be placed. Our recommendations for the size of the unit, its location, fuel type, and any accessories will take into account factors such as:

- Efficiency and setup of the entire system
- Municipal/local restrictions
- Emissions and sound level requirements

Design and Engineering
Intelligent system design is where WPP adds tremendous value, often saving our customers time and money through creative backup power solutions that other companies might miss. Our detailed design proposal will incorporate all your stated goals for the system while staying under budget and within your timeline. Before beginning installation we will see that all necessary permits are secured, as well.
Equipment
WPP maintains a huge inventory of both new and used generator sets, generator ends, engines, accessories, and more. No matter the job, we can supply the right equipment in the brand you trust, fully tested and inspected to ensure premium condition, and supply the equipment within days; not months. Installation
We do the heavy lifting…literally. With the equipment procured, we return to your location to prepare the site and install everything. Our Installation activities include, but are not limited to:
- Decommissioning and purchasing of your existing equipment or facilities and conducting asset recovery.
- Pouring new concrete slabs.
- Complete electrical installation from permitting, coordination with the utility provider, conduit runs, distribution boards, automatic transfer switch (ATS), and more.
- Plumbing of natural gas lines.
- Exhausts and air flow systems.
- Installing fuel tanks.
- Cranes and rigging.
Like everything else, transportation, craneage, and other logistics are all issues you can leave to us.
Commissioning and Startup
With the generator or engine installed and fueled, our certified technicians will commission and test the system to ensure proper functionality. They can also walk your personnel through training of the system, the startup process and answer any questions they may have about the system. Of course, they will be available by phone or email at any time should you need help later on.
Service and Maintenance
From scheduled checkups that extend the life of your equipment, to emergency repairs after hours, WPP keeps your gensets and engines performing optimally. Highlights of our Service and Maintenance offerings include:
- Preventive Maintenance: One of our skilled technicians performs an 80-point inspection on your generator or engine, resolving any noted issues. Substitute backup power can be made available while your primary unit is being serviced.
- Load Bank Testing: One of the most crucial aspects of generator maintenance, load bank testing is a monthly procedure to defend against wet stacking and to ensure load optimization.
- Remote Monitoring: Don’t miss out on this incredible functionality that allows owners to get live updates from anywhere in the world on how their machinery is performing, as well as alerts about potential or current failures.
- Fuel Polishing: Dirty diesel is rough on engines. Let us clean it up at least once per year for best results.
