WPP Welcomes James Harrison as New Chief of Staff
HOUSTON, TX, April 22, 2025 — Worldwide Power Products (WPP) is pleased to welcome James Harrison as its new Chief of Staff, effective April 21, 2025.
Harrison brings more than two decades of experience in operations, business development, and strategic leadership across the energy, compression, and industrial services sectors. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations at Cooper Machinery Services, where he led a team of over 65 and managed a $25 million aftermarket business specializing in engine and compressor repair for equipment lines including Superior, Waukesha, and Caterpillar.
As Chief of Staff at WPP, Harrison will work closely with the executive leadership team to support key strategic initiatives, enhance internal collaboration, and align day-to-day operations with the company’s long-term goals. His cross-functional expertise—combined with a strong commitment to customer service and team development—uniquely positions him to support WPP’s continued growth and operational excellence.
Throughout his career, Harrison has held leadership roles at Dover Precision/Cook Compression, Waukesha-Pearce Industries, Archrock, and Exterran, where he consistently drove performance improvements and operational innovation. He also brings experience in technical field services, engineering, and project management from earlier roles at Automated Logic Houston and Fluor.

Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a minor in General Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. He resides in the Houston area with his family.
