Worldwide Power Products Taps Former Southwest Water Company Director Scott Spidle to Lead New Rental and Service Division

Houston, TX, (June 26, 2012)—Worldwide Power Products (WPP), a power-generation equipment provider to industrial clients worldwide, has named Scott Spidle its Vice President of Rental and Service. In that capacity, Spidle will oversee WPP’s rental fleet and the generator service team that supports it. He will also be heavily involved in developing new business for the division, which launched earlier this year.

“I joined WPP because I wanted to help further their reputation as the generator-set supplier that focuses on excellent service and total customer satisfaction,” said Spidle. “I take great pride in ensuring that once we make a commitment, we meet it.”

With more than 18 years of experience in operations and management, Spidle most recently worked for the Southwest Water Company as Director of Operations. There, his experience developing and implementing operating procedures helped prepare him for his new role. Spidle holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture from Sam Houston State University and is a member of the Association of Water Board Directors and the American Water Works Association.

“Scott Spidle is a go-getter with an unconditional dedication to customer service,” said WPP Executive VP Mark Lum. “He’s perfect to lead our new Rental and Service division, where customers with emergency needs depend on us to meet their exacting specifications quickly. Not only do we deliver their generator sets and engines in as little as four hours, but we set them up and then provide the customer with service throughout the rental.”
