Worldwide Power Products (“WPP”)  is growing, and as of summer 2022 we have added six new technicians to our ranks. This brings our total to an incredible 25 technicians now on staff, and enhances our collective capabilities dramatically. 

Our new techs possess an average of 20+ years of experience. In addition to their other credentials, they are also recent graduates of a three-day EGSA load bank training school event that WPP hosted in June 2022.

They will be instrumental in meeting the growing demands for our in-shop and field and maintenance, particularly for portable diesel generators, as well as refurbishing pre-owned equipment to help keep our inventory of used gensets fully stocked.

We are capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting almost any make and model in existence today. We have cutting edge technology diagnostic tools with the knowledge and experience to apply them effectively. 

The In-Shop services division is getting the latest and greatest training from the OEM manufactures and aftermarket. We have been planning and developing a technician training program that does not exist in any other company in the industry. We will be unveiling that in 2023!

WPP is holding themselves to a higher standard than required because we want to provide our customers with the best the industry has to offer.

Having so many skilled technicians on staff who can collectively service over 30 manufacturers is the key to being able to quickly respond to our customer’s needs 24/7/365. With over a dozen field service technicians, we are able to  reach customers throughout the Greater Houston area and throughout Texas and Louisiana, as well.

Of course, if you just need preventive maintenance on your generator or engine, we have more than enough skilled personnel at the ready to perform fuel polishing, load bank testing, and more. In fact, we’re a one-stop shop for everything from design and installation to decommissioning.

We recently shared how Worldwide Power Products has added over $10 million worth of new and used equipment to our inventory, while expanding our rental fleet by more than $3 million. This is only possible by adding these new technicians, who are overhauling and inspecting used gensets for resale and keeping rental units performing their best.
