Worldwide Power Products (“WPP”), Today Announced it Has Signed a Partnership Agreement With GFS Corporation

Houston, TX, (August 05, 2014)—Worldwide Power Products (WPP), a power-generation equipment provider to industrial and petroleum clients worldwide, today announced it has signed a partnership agreement with GFS Corporation, a manufacturer of systems that allow large, high horsepower diesel engines to operate on a combination of natural gas and diesel fuel. Under the terms of the agreement, WPP will be an authorized North American master distributor for GFS products in the oil and gas industry.

“As we expand our distributor program we’re looking for experienced, well-connected power-distribution equipment providers to represent us across the U.S.,” said Lanny Slater, Director of Sales of GFS Corp. “WPP brings just the right kind of expertise and enthusiasm that we need to grow our presence in and across the oil and gas sector.”

“These bi-fuel kits deliver huge diesel fuel cost savings to our customers,” said WPP Executive VP Mark Lum.  “We can achieve substitution rates up to 70% natural gas for diesel fuel.  Moreover, less operating costs, use of uninterruptible gas supplies where available including wellhead gas, cleaner burning fuel for reduced exhaust emissions, and reduced need for on-site fuel storage.”

WPP plans to offer the GFS bi-fuel kits for sale or lease.  Heading up the operations is Jason Bridges, a veteran in the energy sector with stints at Spitzer, Valerus, and Shell.

“WPP has become globally known for its ability to deliver new surplus, used and remanufactured power-generation equipment quickly and at highly competitive rates,” said Lum. “With the GFS partnership, we are adding quality fuel-saving solutions to our portfolio, as well.”
