Receptionist – Part-Time
Position Summary
The Part-time receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors at the front office, answering phones, and completing administrative tasks around the office.
Essential Duties
- Greets all visitors and ensure they are directed and to the appropriate person or area.
- Answers phone line and directs calls to the appropriate employee(s).
- Opens and distributes mail daily as well as sends outgoing mail and packages.
- Manages and dispenses all FedEx and UPS shipments.
- Handles the maintenance of the conference rooms, kitchen and break room areas- keeping areas clean, ordering supplies when needed etc.
- Responsible for regular office supply inventory, purchasing and restocking.
- Responsible for overall appearance and cleanliness of office.
- Acts as a backup assistant when Executive Assistant (EA) is out of the office.
Additional Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Competencies
Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Experience
- One to two years of customer service & administration support or similar role.
- Customer service and experience answering phone lines preferred
