Receptionist – Part-Time

Position Summary

The Part-time receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors at the front office, answering phones, and completing administrative tasks around the office.


Essential Duties 

  • Greets all visitors and ensure they are directed and to the appropriate person or area.
  • Answers phone line and directs calls to the appropriate employee(s).
  • Opens and distributes mail daily as well as sends outgoing mail and packages.
  • Manages and dispenses all FedEx and UPS shipments.
  • Handles the maintenance of the conference rooms, kitchen and break room areas- keeping areas clean, ordering supplies when needed etc.
  • Responsible for regular office supply inventory, purchasing and restocking.
  • Responsible for overall appearance and cleanliness of office.
  • Acts as a backup assistant when Executive Assistant (EA) is out of the office.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Attend training sessions as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Competencies

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Experience

  • One to two years of customer service & administration support or similar role.
  • Customer service and experience answering phone lines preferred

Certifications & Licenses

  • No certifications or licenses required for this role
