Worldwide Power Products Names John Agnes to Manage Worldwide Power Products’ Service Division

Worldwide Power Products (WPP), a power-generation equipment provider to industrial clients worldwide, has named John Agnes to the position of Service Manager. In this capacity, Agnes will manage WPP’s rapidly growing Service Division and the team that supports it. Agnes will be hands-on in all aspects, from developing WPP’s service clientele to supervising activity in the division and ensuring total customer satisfaction after work is complete.

“I was looking for a challenging, rewarding and diverse management position in a growing organization, and I couldn’t have asked for a better fit than Worldwide Power Products,” says Agnes. “I look forward to growing and managing their Service Division and further enhancing the excellent reputation they have already acquired in this industry.”

Prior to joining WPP, Agnes worked for more than a decade within the generator industry, spending 10 years in sales, service and management with a Caterpillar dealer and two with Simplex Onsite Services, a company that sells and rents the load bank testing equipment WPP uses in generator testing. Agnes holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from N.E.C. Tampa Technical Institute. He has also completed both the Caterpillar and Dale Carnegie Management training courses.

“Jon Agnes’ combination of deep experience in sales and service management, combined with his extensive knowledge of the industry, made him the perfect candidate for this position,” said WPP Executive VP Mark Lum. “While in previous positions, he has repeatedly proven his commitment to customer satisfaction. We are excited for him to bring that energy and dedication to Worldwide Power Products.”
